Chief Operations Officer

Our client is a machine vision company based in Slovakia. It cooperates with leading industrial suppliers to deliver outstanding sensoric performance to drive future autonomous systems ranging from collaborative robots, drones, self-driving vehicles to face-recognition and enhancing human vision in augmented reality applications.

Main tasks:

  • Managing all company internal operations – technology design and development, sales, legal, finance, HR, coordination of international business development activities
  • Developing and establishing operating policies to support overall company objectives
  • Working in partnership with the management team, creating a strategic plan and implementing new processes and approaches to achieve it
  • Overseeing all administrative functions, ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Managing and overseeing business and financial planning activities
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial reports
  • Supporting organizational budgeting processes
  • Overseeing risk management and legal activities: client contracts, partnership agreements, leases, and other legal documents
  • Cooperating with HR at hiring, and compensation, professional training and development of people
  • Helping with recruiting activities and expansion in the US and China

Information about salary:

  • 150.000 EUR gross annually, however the final salary amount will be defined based on the successful candidate´s experience and seniority.

Professional profile:

  • University education in a technical field with focus on Automation and Robotics
  • Previous working experience from premium IT, telecommunication or industrial technology companies
  • Experience within a process-oriented organization, ability to transform the process knowledge and apply it in the environment of a fast-growing technology start-up
  • Solid understanding of Operations, HR, Finance and administrative functions
  • Good knowledge of Machine Vision, Robotics or general Automation
  • Proven managerial experience
  • Fluent knowledge of English
