General Manager

Our client is an international manufacturing company, located in the northern Slovakia. 

Main tasks:

  • Managing the company
  • Providing vision and operational expertise to the company’s manufacturing organization wherever and whenever it is lacking
  • Leading the teams (approximately 200 employees) to achieve operating profit objectives within the scope of the business strategy
  • Managing and coaching management and team members in their personal development and in having focus on continuous improvement
  • Reporting to the CFO / CEO of Group
  • Being responsible for operational and financial performance of the site
  • Ensuring that the facility is operated safely
  • Driving preventative practices to continue to improve the safety performance of the site
  • Ensuring full regulatory compliance of the site with all local, state, and federal laws
  • Implementing process improvements for operational efficiencies, utility consumption, safety and environmental compliance
  • Providing leadership for problem resolution to facilitate and drive improvements
  • Coordinating with Business Partners to optimize performance (Finance, Supply Chain, Development, Engineering, etc.)

Information about salary:

  • 120.000 EUR gross annually, however the final salary amount will be defined based on the successful candidate´s experience and seniority.

Professional profile:

  • Experienced leader in operations management
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years of senior management experience in non-serial production, technical manufacturing, machinery and assembly
  • High level of LEAN expertise and experience in leading change
  • Ability to develop and implement a Kaizen/Six Sigma roadmap for operating business
  • Experience in manufacturing site budgeting, forecasting and P&L management
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Slovak
