Based in Bucharest, Sorin has been the Managing Director of Arthur Hunt in Romania since the opening of the office in 2006. He is a Senior Consultant focusing on International Training programs as well as on Recruitment in a number of functional and industry areas. He has hands-on experience with recruiting for top and middle management positions in General Management, HR, Finance & Audit, Sales & Marketing and other fields, for a number of industries including FMCG, Banking, Transportation & Logistics, Environment & Agriculture, Construction & Real Estate and more.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining Arthur Hunt Sorin had been for 10 years acting as Chief of Personnel and Staff Officer for Operational and Strategic HQs within the HR Directorate of the Romanian Ministry of Defense.
Additional Interests & Activities
Sorin is a certified practitioner of 16PF tests - profiling personality for potential, and has delivered customized assessment centers for various management areas and industries.
Educational Background
A graduate of the "Henri Coanda" Air Force Academy in Brasov (Air Defense branch), Sorin also completed an advanced HR career course at the SSI Ft. Jackson, Columbia, SC, USA, and a Business Development training by Lander Associates, UK. Sorin speaks native Romanian and fluent English.
